Nate Fisher is the newest member of the Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design team, he joins the team as a design associate after an internship in 2008. Fisher’s role with the company includes graphic design, business development, as well as plan production. In April of 2009 Fisher became one of few in the golf industry to become LEED certified.
Previous golf design experience includes a yearlong internship with Weibring-Wolfard as well as an internship with Kite-Bechtol Golf Design based in Austin, TX. During his internships Fisher gained valuable knowledge about the fundamentals of golf design as well as rendering techniques used to communicate those designs to clients. Beyond his experience in golf design, Fisher spent several years employed in the golf business. His experiences in the day to day operations of a golf course allow him insight into how a course’s design can affect its internal functionality.
Mr. Fisher has a Bachelors of Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University.
