As a design associate at Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design, Josh Peters is a vital member of the design team, producing construction drawings, course designs, performing master planning, cost estimating, and contract administration.
Prior to joining Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design in 2005, Peters spent four years working on multiple golf course development projects in Hawaii with developers Lyle Anderson Co., Discovery Land Co. and Schwaab. While working on Hawaiian projects such as Hokulia, Kukio and Nanea, Peters gained valuable experience supervising golf construction, irrigation projects and massive landscape/tree projects. His expertise also includes land planning, high-end development and golf course and development layout. Peters also gained extensive experience with Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and AutoCAD which the firm still uses today.
Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design has created resort, daily-fee, municipal and private courses world-wide, including two PGA Tour venues. We achieve success by considering every aspect of the golf course design, golf course restoration and golf course renovation project—its creativity, its playability, its impact on the environment and its economic viability. It’s this 360-degree approach to form and function that Weibring-Wolfard brings to every award winning new course or renovation. The Texas firm, which was established in 1987, is led by PGA Tour professional D.A. Weibring and acclaimed golf course architect Steve Wolfard. Weibring-Wolfard Golf Design is a division of Golf Resources, Inc.
